CrowFly formed from one simple song and one simple idea, The Loss of Fear. It’s hard to follow your dreams: It’s not easy to win and it’s not hard to lose, but when you realize your dreams are possible and you find the right people, it can be done. Guitarist, Davey Jones, and Frontman, Brandon James, wrote the song Losing Our Fear. That was the gateway for all that was to follow, which is Crowfly Today. Tim Estes came in on Drums and Piano, Jim Martz on Guitar, and Rose added the Bass to round out Crowfly. The future success of this band is inevitable.

Once Davey knew CrowFly was what he wanted to do, he also realized it was time to make the return to guitar. Drums were always fun to play, and he loved every minute of it, but being behind his guitar is where he felt he needed to be for this. Davey had always kept up with guitar and practiced on a regular basis, along with the drums, but everything inside of him told him it was time for a change. And it paid off in dividends.
Davey’s goal in life has always been to succeed in the music business. Either as a musician in a band, or someone involved in music production. Music is his life, his passion, and his driving force. Davey will stop at nothing to have this dream come to fruition. And to be surrounded by fellow bandmates, who are just as passionate about music, is absolutely phenomenal. He personally could not ask for a better group of guys to be in a band with. It drives Davey even harder to be a better musician, and to succeed at what they all love. Music.
Rose is the bassist for Crowfly. A Miami girl through and through, she has taken advantage of the cultural influences that her hometown has given her. She has a professional reputation for her unique playing style, impeccable timing, heavy sound, and the ability to transition from different styles and genres seamlessly. Although her personal preference is for heavier rock, Rose is well rounded and has performed and recorded everything from Latin and Caribbean-influenced music, to rock and fusion. Her musical influences range from the Smashing Pumpkins, Deftones, Marilyn Manson, and Tool to classic R&B artists like Gladys Knight, Barry White, and O.C. Smith.
The newest member of Crowfly, Rose is proud to be a part of the band and the exciting future that’s sure to come.
